• Rebecca and Daniel: The Highlight Film

When early April weather can be more than a little wet in Cincinnati, Rebeccca and Daniel couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day. The energy in the suite as Rebecca and her bridesmaids were getting ready was so incredibly contagious, I could tell then that we were going to have an electrifying day. There were so many beautiful moments made up their day; the incredible toasts, Daniel’s reaction as Rebecca walks down the aisle, and of course the interaction between them. Rebecca and Daniel, I wish you the best as you begin your new life in Denver and I hope you enjoy these Highlights from your wedding film!

Amy + DJ: The Highlight Film

I couldn’t ask for a better wedding to start the year. Amy and DJ joined hands and lives in front of their closest friends and family members at the Cincinnati Art Museum on a chilly March day. I had the pleasure of working with DJ on a few projects over the last few years and I was really excited when he called me to film his wedding. This was a very intimate ceremony where DJ’s father was also the minister and symbolic butterflies adorned the ceremony and reception.  This was more than a wedding, it was a family union and I’m very honored to have been a part of it and to share the day with my friends Kortnee and Ted of Kortnee Kate Photography.  I hope you enjoy their highlight film, the soundtrack was their first dance song, but I chose to use a cover of the same song.

What a gorgeous evening for a wedding, and even better that it was New Years Eve. Jessica and Cody joined their lives in front of their closest friends and family at the amazing Drees Pavilion. I remember meeting Jessica and her mom, Susan in our studio and how excited they were to have us film their day. That energy certainly carried over to the wedding day when Josh and I walked into the room to start filming the preparations. They chose the stunning Wiedemann Hill Mansion for their photos and what an incredible place that is. Geri, Josh and myself were like kids in a candy store, the possibilities are endless! There wasn’t a single dry eye when they exchanged their personal vows to one another and I’m very honored to have been there for it all.

Christy + Tom: A Hybrid Highlight

Without question one of the most beautiful weddings of 2008 that I had the pleasure of filming was Christy and Tom’s at St. Xavier and Cincinnati’s Music Hall. It was a magical evening where the old school met the new school as I filmed in both Super 8 for that true organic vintage feel and simultaneously in High Definition to give a bright crisp picture. I had the incredible honor of working alongside Tine of TM Photography on an absolutely amazing event orchestrated by the incredibly talented Brigid Horne-Nestor of i-do weddings and events. Christy, Tom, their families and guests were so much fun, everyone had a great time, especially when everyone’s favorite local band, The Rusty Griswolds took the stage during the reception. It was an awesome evening and I’m incredibly honored to have been a part of it. You may remember their trailer, but I wanted to also share their Highlight with you as well, where I combine the Super 8 and the HD footage, I really hope you enjoy it!

    Amanda + Dan: The Highlight

I will always remember Joanna and Mitch’s ceremony as one of the most emotionally charged ones I have ever seen. The personal vows they wrote to each other were some of the best I have ever heard! The beautiful backdrop at the Manor House was the perfect setting for them to begin their lives together and it certainly gave me some unique filming opportunities. The day couldn’t have been better, from the weather, to the incredible scenery, the design and details that they put into everything, truly made this a unique and memorable occasion. I had the incredible opportunity to work with Rachel from Rocket Tree Photography and I’m really looking forward to the next time. Joanna and Mitch wanted to use their first dance song for their highlight and I think it made a beautiful soundtrack. I hope you enjoy!
