On a gorgeous Spring day in Cincinnati, Jenny and Jim joined their lives through personal vows in front of their closest friends and family members. This was definitely one of the most uplifting weddings I’ve had the honor of filming. From their vows to their toasts, there were so many incredible words spoken that day. It would be difficult to ask for more, their wedding seemed to have it all. Awesome weather, check! A contagious energy, check! An inspiring couple, DOUBLE CHECK! Please enjoy their wedding film!

This is a wedding that had it all- a beautiful couple, an awesome venue, and an amazing team. Rachael and Kyle’s ceremony and reception was held at the stunning Green Acres Arts Center, a location like no other. Early and the day Rachael, her mom and her bridesmaids were treated to massages as they prepared for the day, while Kyle and the guys golfed at a nearby country club before they saw each other in front of this majestic venue. After the ceremony, the celebration continued as their guests danced on the packed floor. Rachael and Kyle wanted to surprise their guests with this Same Day Edit, which premiered at their reception after dinner.

It doesn’t get much better than Betsy and Will’s party, um…I mean wedding. From the start of our relationship, I knew this was going to be a fun one but I think I might have underestimated that a little. The preparations in the morning were a great indicator of how the rest of the day would go and IT WAS A BLAST! Josh and I had so much fun working with Betsy, Will, their families and friends, at times it was hard to believe we were actually working. Please enjoy their Same Day Edit, which premiered at their wedding reception!

You could almost categorize the weather on their wedding day by pre ceremony and post ceremony. Pre ceremony, it rained, and by rained I mean IT POURED. Everyone was paying close attention to the weather though because Lauryn and Chris were hoping for an outdoor ceremony with the Cincinnati skyline to their backs. Amazing as it may be, it rained until the last possible minute, just as they were setting up for the ceremony. It truly was unbelievable how the rain stopped, the clouds parted and the sun came out, all within a very short amount of time. Chris claims it was his doing, while others had their own ideas. Either way, it made for a beautiful outdoor ceremony. After the ceremony, the party got started and it did not stop, thanks to Jeff at Party Pleasers. It was a spectacular event filled with so many personal details and I’m honored to have been a part of it all. Enjoy their Same Day Edit, which premiered during their wedding reception.

I can remember first meeting Andy and Jessica in the studio and how excited he was for his wedding. He wanted it to be perfect and in the end, it was nothing short of that, actually it was more than perfect! Ok, so the weather didn’t get the memo, but that didn’t stop their guests from witnessing one of the most stunning weddings I’ve ever seen. They shared their vows in the Hall of Mirrors, then the room was flipped for their beautiful reception. Andy was on top of the world and Jessica was right there with him. It was a huge honor to film their wedding and work alongside them, their families and an incredible professional team that was there to make sure that this would be a night to remember. Enjoy their Same Day Edit which premiered at their reception that night!

This was a day that was beyond perfection. The weather was ridiculous, the energy couldn’t have been better and I got to work with an amazing team! Caroline and Christopher shared their vows at St. Xavier downtown before heading over to the Hall of Mirrors to celebrate with their closest friends and family. After the heartfelt toasts it was time to dance, and dance they did!
I delivered their film last night and shortly after received this email from Caroline, “OH MY GOSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love the film!!!! It is beyond awesome. I am probably going to watch it for a third time tonight! I am sure you could guess that I cried the whole time! It brought back the same emotion that we felt on June 19th. It is so hard to put into words how amazingly talented you are. We simply could not be more pleased and feel so lucky that you were able to be a part of our wedding celebration and that you were able to capture everything so perfectly. We can’t wait to show our families, they are going to freak out! :)”
This is the highlight of their Feature Film. Enjoy!

It doesn’t get much better than an awesome Fall wedding at Drees Pavilion. Although it was a little cooler and wetter than expected, it was still an incredible event as Krista and Jeremy celebrated their new beginning with their friends and families. They were so easy going and up for anything, running through a field with no shoes, hanging out on a bridge, and all of it before the ceremony. Prior to the wedding day we also hung out as we filmed their love story, which would be a part of their Same Day Edit. Its a feature that can add so much backstory to a Same Day Edit and offers a little insight about the couple. We set up in the studio and just talked about how they met and their lives together up to this point and then we go have some fun with the cameras. That is then mixed with footage from the actual wedding day and presented that night durning dinner. Enjoy!

Under cloudless fall day in Cincinnati, Jeannett and Mike were married at St. Mary’s Cathedral which was packed with friends and family which had come to witness this epic event. Their day started with their separate preparations, Jeannett at her childhood home, actually the home her grandparents had also lived in and Mike hanging with the guys in a local suite. When I first arrived, Jeannett handed me a plateful of her mother’s homemade cookies, which I HIGHLY recommend you finding a way to get your hands on one (dozen). Seriously, they are that good! Only a few hours later, Jeannett was making her way through the player tunnels at Great American Ballpark and out through the dugout to meet her awaiting groom for the first time that day. It doesn’t get any better than that! A few hours after that, they would be right back there as husband and wife celebrating with their friends and family with a baseball themed reception, complete with ballpark food, a baseball cake, and amazing decor. Mike is a graphic designer and he created everything from the invitations, to the table place cards. It was a very unique and personal reception. I had the honor of sharing the day with Annie and Toby Varland of Varland Photography. They were amazing to work with and took some amazing shots of us in action, including the ones below. Jeannett and Mike wanted a Same Day Edit, which is a short film of their day shown that night during dinner. What made their’s really different is that it was shown on 25 televisions around the room and a HUGE screen simultaneously. It was an incredible experience from beginning to end, and I hope you enjoy their Same Day Edit!

WOW! What a party! I knew going into the day that it was going to be a great one, but it was even more than I could’ve imagined. Lauren and Seth were married this past Sunday at Adath Israel and when the ceremony was over, the back wall was moved to reveal a STUNNING reception. They truly wanted to create an experience and it was one I won’t soon forget. Party on the Moon was the band and I can honestly say I’ve never seen a band rock a wedding like they did. The energy in the room was enough to power a small village and they kept everyone on the floor until their last song. Lauren and Seth wanted to surprise their guests with a Same Day Edit which is a short film of their wedding day from the preparations on to the reception and is shown on a big screen during dinner. Its an amazing experience for everyone. Their guests really enjoyed it and I wanted to share it with you. Enjoy!

I can’t even begin to believe that its been a year since we brought our little girl into this world. Seems just like yesterday we were driving to the hospital in total excitement, anxious to give Mya a baby sister. Sadie Evelyn Zugelter came into our lives on June 3, 2009 at 9:28am, she not only came into our lives, she completely changed them. Its amazing to be able to experience all the new discoveries with her like we did with Mya, but also watch as she takes on her own personality that is completely different from her big sister. Mya is an awesome big sister too, well, most of the time. She is kind and gentle and loves to share her ice cream or lollipop, but then there are the times when Mya plays the big sister card and tries to take a toy from her. Sadie isn’t a push over though, she’ll grab a handful of Mya’s hair if she feels the urge, and then laugh as if she’s just gotten even. She also loves to fake us out. She’ll hold a toy out for us to grab and just as we’re about to get it, she whips her hand back and giggles and does it again and again. She’s so very close to walking on her own and I can’t wait for the days when she and Mya chase Guinness around the house or run around in the backyard. Yeah, maybe I do live a little vicariously through them in an attempt to have a second childhood, but there is no question that I’m truly a blessed man. Sadie just turned one year old and I created a short look back on her first year. Many thanks to my friends Steph Carson who created such an amazing maternity session. Nancy of Brideface who was there to make by beautiful wife even more stunning, and Kortnee Kate for the awesome birth, family & cake sessions. I really hope you enjoy this look back which was created with their amazing photos and super 8mm film.
