Without question this is one of the most unique weddings, if not THE most unique wedding we’ve ever filmed. Mindy and David were married at The Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. The Stanley is full of history and is probably best known as the place that inspired Steven King to write “The Shining” and it was the perfect setting for Mindy and David’s wedding. This was truly unlike anything I’ve ever seen and I couldn’t have asked for a cooler couple. WOW so much attention to detail to create such a stunning event. From the Jack Nicholson impersonator to the fortune teller and the remarkable room design by Design Works, this was definitely an event I won’t soon forget and I’m incredibly honored to have filmed it. Speaking in Michigan Next Week!
I’m incredibly honored to be invited to present at the MIVA (Michigan Independent Video Association) this coming Wednesday, November 4th. My presentation will be on concept films and how they can transform your studio. I’ll be covering how to get started, advanced techniques, storyboarding and scripting methods as well as marketing. I love to inspire others as much as I’ve been inspired and I’m really looking forward to this. Good times with great people and I’m sure there will be an after party including hops and barley.
