This was a night I’ll remember for a very long time! I remember meeting Tracy and her mom, Paulette for the initial consultation and thinking ‘this is going to be a great wedding’, I certainly wasn’t wrong by any stretch of the imagination! Tracy had called me about three weeks or so before the wedding to ask if we still had time to do the Same Day Edit, she wanted to do it as a surprise to her mom, who had absolutely loved the idea. We had plenty of time and as I’m filming the interview segments, I’m completely blown away by the sound bytes they are unknowingly giving me and I’m already starting to edit the piece in my head. The greatest thing is, Paulette called me the very next day asking me to talk Tracy into doing the Same Day Edit, but I couldn’t tell her that we had already done it, so I told her there just wasn’t enough time to make it happen but I would gladly produce a photo montage for them, (this would explain the screen at the reception and Paulette wouldn’t get suspicious). The master plan went off without a hitch! Mom, dad, and all the guests were able to watch with laughter and tears of joy as Max and Tracy explained how they met, fell in love and ultimately got married, then were surprised by video of the preparations and the Ceremony itself!!! It truly was one of those magical moments that will forever be etched in time.
