WOW!! What a way to start the day, waking up to an email informing me that Studio+Z Films was listed among the top 50 hottest and most influential event filmmaking studios IN THE WORLD!! What does this mean you ask? EventDV Magazine is the publication for all things event film related and every year they honor the 25 most influential event filmmaking studios. This year, they decided to do something different and add another list of EventDV 25 Finalists to the Top 25. What an amazing honor to be a part of such an all star lineup, filmmakers that inspire me and friends that I’ve made along this journey. The really sweet thing is this list is created by studios from all over the world who vote for who they think is the most influential. My friend Chris Jones of Mason Jar Films, who was just named one of the Top 25, wrote this about me, “Steve dreams big and executes even bigger! From presenting at WEVA, to creating a concept film, to growing his business, Steve shows us the power of aiming high.” I truly am blessed to have this honor and share it with so many other incredible studios.
